Google your way to Birches Valley Forestry Centre. Half way along Birches Valley road, at the black and white plastic bollards, turn onto the rough track with the Forestry Commission sign. Follow the track to the end: [ignore ‘Private Tracks’ signs].

Slowly & carefully through the yard at Fair Oak Lodge; between the garage & wall down to the Cottage, where the sandstone crest greets you at the entrance.
